Product Marketing Manager


IIW Hosting’s Product Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering go-to-market execution that drives revenue growth, and is expected to be the subject matter expert in hosting and cloud, using this knowledge to influence sales, product, and marketing strategies.

This position will work closely with marketing, product, sales to execute and implement the best go-to market plans. This role is critical to the competitiveness and revenue growth of IIW Hosting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Project Management Responsibility for all marketing deliverables.
  • Train sales team and Channel Partners via presentations, and demos.
  • Develop sales tools to support the sale of IIW Hosting services.
  • Ensures launch readiness internally and externally for new products, as well as enhancements including full ownership of the go-to-market strategy, plan, and associated deliverables.
  • Create the messaging for each new product launch and manage the cross-functional implementation of each launch plan.
  • Responsible for articulating IIW Hosting's unique products and capabilities that deliver value to and solve problems for the market, at launch and on an ongoing basis.
  • Creates internal and external positioning documents that will be used to develop external messages focused on key buyers, personas and use cases, and generates external product messaging and positioning.
  • Operates well in an environment of rapid change and is comfortable operating with autonomy.
  • Involved throughout the entire lifecycle of the product working closely with development teams from product initiation to delivery to eventual product retirement.
  • Identifies areas of differentiation for the product/product family and articulate the unique selling proposition to the market while evangelizing and training internal constituents.
  • Develop and execute well integrated product centric Internet marketing campaigns and social media plans.
  • Create and manage IIW Hosting’s Product marketing calendar, including product promotions, and direct and indirect marketing campaigns.
  • Manage various product marketing launches, and product marketing ongoing projects across organization.
  • You will track and analyse sales data; monitoring business trends and customer preferences.
  • Work with the marketing team on product centric web-site messaging, including positioning, content and overall messaging.
  • You will brief creative teams and work with them to develop high quality creative output for use within campaigns.
  • Project manage new product campaigns from conception and deployment to tracking and reporting of results.
  • Follow brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Implement marketing campaigns to promote IIW Hosting with the aim of maximizing awareness of our brand.
  • Become the in-house expert on IIW Hosting’s customers, how they buy, and their buying criteria.
  • Become the in-house expert on IIW Hosting’s competition through competitive analysis and research.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of IT hosting (Cloud and Dedicated) or Web 2.0 software/SaaS and marketing/communication experience with at least 4 years’ experience in a Online Marketing.
  • Solid technical marketing abilities .
  • Bachelor’s in business, marketing or communications; Masters preferred.
  • Highly Technical, with a passion for technology and high tech.
  • Channel Marketing Experience.
  • Experience in strategic email/digital marketing in order to plan and deliver fully integrated campaigns.
  • Experience with e-marketing campaigns (webinars, e-mail, banner ads, search (organic and paid) and Web 2.0 tools).
  • Must have a writing background and previous experience with creating marketing collateral and web content.
  • Experience with managing the communication and product marketing functions at a web-based Online Marketing company.
  • Experience creating and managing social media strategies and tactics.
  • Experience working with Direct and Indirect Channel Sales channels.
  • Self-starter, high-energy and team-oriented.
  • Previous campaign marketing experience within an online web based organization.
  • Highly organized and work within a demanding environment is essential.
  • An understanding of creative layouts and formatting to best practice.
  • A strong technical understanding of digital products available in the market - excellent software skills for MS Office, and the web.
  • Good knowledge of taking creative briefs to design and final production / implementation.
  • Ability to make recommendations and work independently on most projects and programs.
  • Very strong written communication skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 25%.
